Unreasonable behavior

By

Back in the 1980s and 90s, I covered a number of air shows, often going along for the ride as in this WWII-era T-6 “Texan” — where I even managed to grab a self-portrait during a barrel roll. I remember the pilot telling me during the parachute drill that my cue to bail out would be if I saw him depart. Somehow, that seemed reasonable at the time. I found this print while looking for a Joe Paterno picture yesterday and hope to post more from the print archives soon. “that seemed reasonable at the time”

LOL.

Don’t know how pilots manage barrel rolls without getting sick, beyond comprehension how a passenger could maintain composure.

Auroras may extend as far as NY tonight, but Philly is probably too far south.

If you book an aurora trip to Yellowknife, best time would be new moon (like yesterday) or Feb 21, Mar 22.

I’d feel silly if I went to Yellowknife and found out people were watching from Buffalo.
