I am an independent, solutions-oriented multimedia journalist, educator and social innovator, focused on peace and justice and based in Philadelphia.

From 1984 through 2008, I was a full-time newspaper and wire service photojournalist, although I started taking news photos professionally in 1979 and still carry a camera everywhere today.

My work has been recognized with The Pulitzer Prize, The Bayeux Prize for War Correspondents, a National Headliner Award, a Philly Geek Award, the Best of Philadelphia awards, and Partners in Peace honors from Mothers in Charge, among others.
