Pro-choice activists organized by Planned Parenthood rally outside of U.S. Sen. Arlen Specter’s office on 6th Street near Market Monday afternoon. As chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, Specter will play a key role in confirmation of a successor to Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day O’Connor, possibly steering the future of abortion rights.
